Hello! My name is Emilee, I’m 26, currently pregnant with my first biological child. I have a step daughter that’s almost 2 and I am my 15 year old sisters legal guardian. When I was 21 I was a nanny for my nephew in Seattle Washington for a year (from 2 months old to a year and 2 months). I also have 2 and a half years of experience working in a group home with 8 of those months being the house manager. The houses I worked had teenagers BUT my clients were autistic so I have experience with autistic kiddos and I’ve worked with more special needs kids and clients as well. As well as my cousins son (now 4) is non verbal and autistic and I lived with her for some time and watched her kids a lot. I have ALWAYS been the go too babysitter in my Read more family. I have a big family and am the oldest so I have experience with all ages. I was a lifeguard for 3 years when I was teenager but the CPR knowledge has never left me, being that I don’t work with smaller kids in the group home I don’t NEED to be certified with babies/toddlers although I have not forgotten how to do CPR for the little ones, and I am more than happy to take a class to be re certified. I do have a car and a license so I do not mind dropping off and picking up from school or other activities. I can definitely cook so meal prep is not an issue.
