Hello my name is Barbara but the kids call me Miss Barbie! I will be attending community college in the spring time to be a Speak Therapist. I’m currently working part-time at a Pharmacy Tech. I have many years of experience in child care, I practically raised my nephew since there were babies, they are toddlers now. I also did a program in high school Early Childhood Education. This program not only help me become more educated in the development of children but also helped me grow and develop as a person, it created a passion in me to want to help the lives of children and make an impact. That’s why my career has so much meaning and purpose to me. In one of the semesters of this program we got to experience a real setting preschool with toddlers, it was a great experience where I learned to create Read more lessons for the kids and develop schedules. I also became CPR certified. I’m also licensed and have my own car. Not only am I the cool aunt I’m also the trusted adult the children see me as. I am someone who loves to engage and have a lot of fun with children. I clean up well and keep things well organized/running smoothly. Not only do I teach my little ones important things, they teach me as well. I’m good with meal-prep, homework, crafting, outside fun, anything you can think of!
