As one of eight kids, babysitting was a common job that was given to me as the middle child when my older siblings moved out. Ever since I was 12 years old, I have taken a variety of babysitting jobs starting with mothers at the local private school. Additionally, I have worked as an on-call babysitter for nurses and/or firemen locally. I am both CPR and First-Aid certified and have experience watching kids from 3 weeks to 14 years old. I am currently an instructional aide for a preschool run by the University of Arizona, working with 3-5 year olds. I also have experience working with both verbal and non-verbal autistic kids as I was a habilitation technician for children aged 3-13 years old. I am very patient, energetic and fun, always willing to play and entertain kids. Additionally, when it comes to after-school help, I can help academically. I Read more was a volunteer tutor for grades K-8 for a few years. I have two nephews and one niece up in Phoenix who I watch from time to time-aged 3 years, 8 years and 13 years. Furthermore, I am also willing to babysit on holidays or academic vacations when asked in advance.
