I just moved to Indiana to start my PhD at IU in counseling psychology. I hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in sport psychology and psychology, respectively. I’m fun loving and passionate about caring for children. I pride myself on being responsible and extremely organized which I bring into all of my childcare positions. As an older sister I spent the better part of my life taking care of my younger sister.Along the way I’ve had many childcare positions outside of my family. For various family friends I was a babysitter taking care of all ages of children. Once I was older and driving I had two nanny positions. One with a family of three grade school aged children and the other with a baby and a toddler. During my time with those families I would spend anywhere from an hour to eight hours a day caring for them. This Read more time would include meal preparation,learning activities, picking them up and taking them places, and most important of all entertaining them. I spent two years with those two families helping the children grow and parents along the way. I was with a nanny agency (Trusting Connections) for a year while in college and was placed with a large variety of families. Most recently was a nanny for a 9mo boy in 2020 for 6 months and nannied for a family with a 4mo boy for 1 year 2021-2022. Additionally to this I was also a children ballet teacher and art teacher. These two roles were most important in acting as a roll model for the children and learning to help them succeed to their fullest potential. I am CPR certified including infant CPR certification and have experience with all ages of children. I would love the opportunity to help you children learn and grow and give you a little break.
