Straight out of high school I worked at the Montessori Children’s House in Long Beach, California, with preschoolers - 5th graders as a Teachers Assistant/Daycare Teacher. I worked there for 3 years while at the same time attending Long Beach City College (LBCC) majoring in their Early Childhood Education program. I just graduated from LBCC with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Specialization in Family Child Care and also an Associate of Science Transfer Degree with a Specialization in Children’s Health and Saftey. I am CPR and First Aid certified. And part time during working at the Montessori School am being a full time student I baby sat a newborn baby girl one day a week, all day, for an entire year, up until her first birthday. So I have experience with newborns as well.
