My name is Ana Maria, and I am a 42 year-old single mother of a 4 year-old son. I am just now able to start babysitting this summer '22. I'm centrally located near Reid Park and am able to provide babysitting throughout the greater Tucson area and will consider farther. I have my own vehicle with an extra carseat, driver's license, and insurance. I am BILINGUAL in English and Spanish. I can speak Spanish with any child I babysit. I was also a competitive swimmer and comfortable supervising children in swimming. I was formally a preschool teacher and babysitter as a young adult. I also worked as a Behavioral Health Technician and Case Manager which I specialized in working with children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. I was employed as an English Teacher overseas in China where I taught 6 year-old children in 1st grade. All of my Read more profession working with children and developmentally disabled adults required me to maintain First Aid and CPR certification and FBI Fingerprint Clearance. I have been concentrating the past 4 years on my son. Now I have available time and would love to care for other children on a part-time basis, especially if my son is allowed to accompany me. He is my only child and loves making new friends. I understand some parents may not want this type of arrangement yet it allows me more availability to care for children.
