I love babysitting because children have a way of reminding us to see the world with wonder. There is something incredibly rewarding about being part of a child’s development, watching them master a new skill, hear a story for the first time, or finally solve a puzzle. I love kids because they are unapologetically themselves; their honesty and curiosity push me to be more patient, creative, and present. My passion for childcare is deeply rooted in my own life as a parent. Having a one-year-old daughter has been my greatest teacher; she has taught me how to be incredibly patient, how to anticipate a child’s needs before they even speak, and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment.
