Hi my name is Ava and I can't wait to meet you! I have many years of experience working with kids of all ages, from preschoolers to preteens. I have worked as a lifeguard which helped me in learning about safety, quick thinking, and emergency response. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. In additon to this, I've worked as a Vacation Bible School camp counselor at my local church where I led group activities and taught lessons. My favorite experience was working as a summer camp coordinator and counselor for Spanish-speaking children in Costa Rica. I taught them English, swimming, sports, and arts and crafts. This helped me to improve my Spanish which I now speak at the intermediate level. I truly enjoy spending time with kids whether that be helping with homework, playing games, or making simple things like snack time fun!
