An adult, responsible single-mother that loves children! I started babysitting at the age of 11 for infants and young children. I have a college background in early childhood education and am currently AED/CPR certified by the American Heart Association. I have many years of mothering experience with children from infant to teen. I have worked a little with special needs but do not have professional training, but I am willing and have the patience. I am an nurturing, organized, mature, neat, tidy, responsible, caring, loving, creative "cool" mom, and will watch your children as if they were my own. Jean was great! My 6 month old is definitely a mama's girl, and has only been with a sitter once before, so I was a little nervous to see how she would do with out me, and Jean did wonderful. My 11 year old son was happy too. They watched movies and had popcorn. Needless to say, I would feel very comfortable having her watch the kiddos again.

My husband and I are over the moon to have found Jean! My daughter and son have asked about her daily since she sat for us. Jean arrived promptly and made me feel calm and assured during a chaotic rush to get out of the house to our event. I returned to sleeping children and a quiet house…heaven! They enjoyed the many crafts that Jean brought and still have them on display in our kitchen. Thank you for making a frazzled mother feel comfortable and less anxious. My husband and I got to enjoy a wonderful evening with friends knowing that our children were in good hands!

Jean is any parent's dream sitter! Two kids under 2 can be tough work for most however it seemed to be a breeze for Jean. Our 2 year old son asked for her as soon as he woke up in the morning, as well as the next morning! And our 9 month old daughter, who normally has separation anxiety, didn't even whimper. It was so great being able to walk about the door without hearing our babies crying! Knowing that they are safe and having a great time allows us to enjoy our evenings out more! We highly recommend Jean! If you are looking for someone to watch your children, and who has common sense (aka -mother's sense), Jean is your woman!! Jen L.

Jean can come back ANY time! She was wonderful, responsible, and reliable. She asked about the girls before she came and surprised them with activities that they would like. Jean was a calming answer to a new mothers worry of leaving her infant! After much research I chose sitter city website, but still had many reservations....I am sooo relieved and happy to report that everything went better than expected! Jean was loving with my 6 month old and my 11 year old said that he "really liked her ALOT!! She loved to laugh and she made him laugh"..which we all know for 11 year olds... that is a job within itself! I am very happy to report a great experience with Jean!
