Hello! My name is Alejandra, but also go by Ale or Alex since it is easier for the little ones to pronounce. I have been working with children since I was 19 years old. I have worked in different environments and positions: I was a Group Leader in different schools for the YMCA, a Gymnastics Coach for infants and elementary aged children, a Youth Care Worker at an emergency shelter for youth, a Teacher's Aide at a YMCA after school program, a Teacher at an extra-curricular program where I taught English, Math, Art, etc. and also tutored, and now, I work as a position similar to a behavior interventionist but for general education. I am taking some time off from school, but am planning to return this Fall or the start of next year. The career path I have chosen is to become a School Psychologist I enjoy being active Read more by weightlifting, running, hiking, and yoga. I love anything involving arts or creating so I enjoy drawing, painting, crocheting, music, photography, jewelry-making, building, etc. - although, I may not be good at any of it at all, haha! But I mention all this because these are activities I would be doing with anyone under my care if it is of interest. I also have no problem with tutoring, I help out when needed with math, English, writing, science, etc.
