Hello, my name is Julie Draghici and I am a 24 year old Cal Poly Pomona graduate with a degree in Hospitality Management. I have been a babysitter for the majority of my pre-teen to adult life. I have two younger siblings whom I often watched when my parents were out. Additionally, I have done professional babysitting for families from church, and several families through Sittercity. Therefore, I am very comfortable and accustomed to children anywhere from the ages of 1-15. I have cared for very young infants as well as children as old as teenagers. Every Sunday morning, I volunteer as a Sunday school teacher. Friday nights, I am also a teacher for young children from the ages of 3-4 at a program called AWANA. This has given me much experience and skills in dealing with large groups of children with various needs. I am bilingual in Romanian and Read more English, and I also have a basic understanding of Spanish. As a caregiver, I truly believe that I am responsible for the well-being of the child, and the influence I have on the child is very important. My behavior is being watched by this child, therefore everything I do should be appropriate, and should be kept in the perspective that the child looks up to me. Also, outside time is important because children benefit from daily exercise. I believe that TV time should be limited. Interactive activities such as puzzles, drawing, painting, exploring outside, and going swimming are important to develop the child's abilities to learn to play with others and to help develop an outgoing personality. In conclusion, I have much experience with children and I very much enjoy being with them. I love to ensure that each child I care for has a very enjoyable, educational, and safe time.

Julie worked for us for 6 months. Julie is extremely sweet and LOVED our little toddler. She was very responsive to our requests and we ended up recommending her to many of our friends. As an added bonus, it was nice to see that our little one kept on learning new things from her. She did a great job with our toddler’s (many) tantrums and showed a level head well beyond her years. We can really recommend her for your little one. But snatch her up if she is available – she is in high demand from smart parents :-).

Julie babysat for us and was everything we had wanted in a sitter. She met us at our home the weekend before the night we wanted her to babysit for us just to break the ice with our daughter. Our daughter Alex quickly took to her and we knew she would be in good hands. Julie was early on the night of and my wife and I snuck away without Alex even noticing. We came back to the house and found Alex sound asleep, perfect! We highly recommend Julie.

Julie came into our lives on short notice, and we were so glad we chose her. She has always been on time, and is very intelligent, responsible, and most importantly EXCELLENT with my 3 kids. She plays a variety of things with them the whole time. The kids are so excited to see her and she is genuinely so fun, caring, and nurturing to them. She takes care of everything and has never had a problem. This is amazing because I have a child with developmental delays, who can sometimes be a handful. I still use her when I need a sitter, and I HIGHLY recommend that you choose her too.
