I have been passionate about childcare from a young age, beginning as a babysitter for families in my church community. As I grew older, I expanded my experience by working in several daycare centers throughout Alaska. In 2010, I joined the YMCA of Alaska, starting in the Child Care Watch program before advancing to the School Care Program as a Lead Administrator. In that role, I supervised a team of six staff members and helped manage a program serving more than 63 children. My responsibilities included planning creative and engaging activities, supporting students with their homework, and ensuring smooth daily operations. As a mother to a now-grown child, I understand the trust it takes to place your child in someone else’s care. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I work hard to create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. I especially love coming Read more up with fun, imaginative activities and believe strongly in the importance of exploring the world around us—whether that means a big adventure or discovering something new right in our own backyard. I am committed to supporting families by offering reliable, nurturing care and giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands.
