I am a 55-year-old, recent empty nester. I have nurtured three thriving human beings into adulthood. I have a Masters of Science in Restorative Practices and am a teacher of Non-Violent Communication. I work with individuals, couples, and groups teaching conscious, effective, and compassionate communication. So why am I offering myself up to spend time with your child/children? Because I enjoy being in children’s lives. They are magic in the making. I enjoy using my presence and care to confirm with them that they matter, they are powerful, they are needed. In addition to raising three children and studying the science of how to build relationships, collaboration and connection, I was also the program manager for a mentor program at Gateway Mountain Center in Truckee California. The Whole Hearts, Minds and Bodies program works with high need and hisk youth. Through supported authentic relationships, outdoor peak experiences and community engagement, it helps youth develop self-efficacy, resilience and grit.
