CPR and First Aid Certified. My first career after school was in adult daycare with United Cerebral Palsy of Woodland, CA. Soon after, I became a live-in caregiver for an amazing lady who I’m still friends with, helping care for her son until he was nearly 5 years old and beginning school (her contact information is available upon request). During my time there, me and Kiddo would play music and dance, do art projects, read stories, make fun things to eat, play games, go on neighborhood walks…but no TV was permitted. I also helped out with mealtimes and cleanup, diapers/ potty time, bedtime, and eventually preschool drop-off and pick-up too. There were two dachshunds that I also loved and helped out with while I was there, as well as my own dog. I’m an animal and nature lover, and a bit of a health nut. I’m close-knit with my family who has lived in Bakersfield for almost 30 years, so I joined them in 2023 when I moved here from Sacramento.
