I genuinely enjoy being around kids and helping them feel safe and have fun. I love playing with them and doing crafts, I crochet, so I like sharing that kind of creative, hands-on stuff. I help take care of my younger siblings at home, so I'm used to being patient, keeping things fun, and staying calm when things get chaotic. It feels good knowing parents can trust me to take that off their plate for a bit. My main experience comes from regularly caring for my younger siblings, handling meals, homework help, bedtime routines, and just keeping an eye on things day to day. I'm also currently a psychology major working toward counseling, so I've done coursework on child development and behavior that helps me understand kids better. In terms of skills, I'm patient and calm under pressure, and I love doing crafts and creative activities with kids. I understand Read more Spanish very well speaking it is a bit harder for me, but I can definitely try and communicate when needed. I'm also comfortable managing routines like meals, homework, and screen-time limits, and my psychology background gives me a helpful lens for understanding kids' behavior and needs.
