I started babysitting when I was 14 and had a decent client list. I've always been great with kids. I am the mother of 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls) and the grandmother of 4 (1 boy and 3 girls). I love spending time with all of them and when they are in my care school is in session!!! I play and teach the kids ABC's and times tables and they don't know they are actively learning. I engage kids I watch to actively participate in chores ( cleaning their rooms to "surprise" mom and dad when they get home, make vacuuming and dusting fun, and allow them to help cook and bake if that's what's on the agenda. I also help with conflict resolution between siblings and creative VB problem solving. I give kids a safe outlet to vent their problems if they are afraid to talk to Read more their parents. I have fun with them while making sure they are respectful of adults and each other. I've also taught kids how to swim , rollerskate, ride horses, read write and lots of other stuff. Family and education are the most important things a child can learn and I do my best to help head them in the right direction when they are in my care.
