I believe its just not about caring for a person but about making a difference in their lives.something that makes u feel good about yourself at the end of the day. For the past 10yrs I have been working for an autistic young lady not only taking care of her but teaching her the fundamentals needed so that she can be more independent. I have tought her Everything from doing laundry to dishes as well as to even doing errands herself!(of course I'm always close by supervising) I also take her out for daily walks to promote excersize as well as community safety and awareness.i also have been working for the past 5 yrs for an agency called quality of life services in which I work with people with developmental disabilities in which I take my consumers to vocational and occupational therapy twice a wk as well as work with Read more her in her home doing v&v therapy daily for one to two hrs (visualizing and verbalizing).I am very reliable and responsible as well as very friendly caring and understanding.
