Hi parents, my name is Briahna! In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, watching movies, and trying new coffee shops. I also love visiting libraries, museums, bookstores, and spending time with my family. I am the oldest of four, with three younger siblings currently ages 9, 12, and 15. I am a full-time student at LBCC, though my fall semester won’t start up until August 31st. I am fluent in English and Spanish and am a beginner at ASL. I currently nanny Monday-Wednesday from 2-8pm for a family with a 7yo and a 9yo, I have been with them since February 2025. I also babysit for a family with a 2mo, 3yo, and 5yo on Fridays from 7am-1pm, I have been with them since July 2024. I have worked with many other families, both long-term and for short term or occasional babysitting, with children ranging in age from 1 Read more to 12 years old. I greatly appreciate the connections I have made while working in the childcare field, and value longevity (when possible). I have assisted in many recreational activities including gymnastics (for toddlers and elementary schoolers), horseback riding lessons, football practice, girl scouts, play rehearsals, and many more! I love playing an active role in the lives of the children I care for, while still respecting and supporting boundaries. I would consider myself, and believe others would agree, to be very calm, patient, and caring. I have a gentler approach and believe discipline is not my place, I will enforce any boundaries or rules established by parents in a gentle manner. I also love animals, and I am very comfortable around them. I have cared for cats and multiple breeds of dogs, all ranging in size. I have done occasional house sitting and dog walking for my current families when they go out of town. I have had multiple background checks, as well as a motor vehicle check run.
