My experience caring for children started with my own family. I am the second oldest of six children, and have always enjoyed tending to my younger siblings' needs. This includes feeding them, getting them dressed for school, doing their hair, helping them with homework and entertaining them. In college, I was a sitter for a co-worker's daughter. I picked her up from BART in the evenings, helped her with homework, did her hair, prepared meals for her, put her to bed and took her outdoors.
