Hello! My name is Kaiya Shepard Garcia. I was a nanny for about 8 years before becoming a preschool teacher, and then a preschool director. I just had my first little one in July, and am currently on maternity leave. As much as it saddens me not to return to my job, dealing with Covid and an infant just makes it seem so unsafe. Therefore, I am looking for a position where I can have less contact with other people (one other family, instead of 60 families in the preschool program), and also bring my infant with me.
