I work full-time as a scientist. I always loved children. I was a Girl Scout all my life then I started working as a volunteer, lifeguard, and Staff in Girl Scouts, I contributed to creative design ways to integrate science, fun, and the outdoors with the K-12 Girl Scout program. My responsibility varied from coordinating age-appropriate activities to planning the logistics. My favorite part was doing activities and hanging out with the girls. I also have experience as a Program Instructor in development of STEM interests in girls from an early age. Students apply the rigor of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content and the STEM Standards of practice while engaged in practical activities that can be applied in every day life while teaching the morals of Girl Scouts.
