Hi, my name is Alexa! I enjoy working with kids because of how creative and unique every child is. I believe every child deserves to feel safe and seen. I am an aspiring Elementary school teacher, working on my education studies degree. I am in my last year at UCSD and will be entering a teaching credential program after graduation. For the past two years I have worked as a receptionist at my old dance studio. Here I assist dancers and their families with any needs. I am also currently a Classroom Teaching Assistant for a first grade class, where I assist students and help lead various activities and lessons. Overall, I really enjoy proving kids a safe space for them to be themselves, to learn, and to enjoy their time as kids.
