Hello! I am fully vaccinated, have reliable transportation for myself and have well over a decade of childcare experience. I’m looking for work occasionally on semi weekly or monthly basis for a family of 1-3 children (for a rate of $22-35/hr). Growing up in a large family has helped me develop a skill-set that makes me an ideal babysitter candidate. I am the eldest of 7 children and helped care for my younger siblings beginning at 11 years-old. My relevant experience caring for infants began with the birth of my youngest sister when I was thirteen. Based off of my volunteer work with elementary school children in the classroom, and my recent 6+ years of experience babysitting children ranging from ages 6-month to 11, I can confidently look after and facilitate activities for children, do basic housekeeping/cooking/mealprep tasks as needed, and assist with homework or other formative learning experiences. I have assisted kids through potty-training, and bedtime routines. Since 2021, I have been babysitting on a semi weekly / as-needed basis for families in Orange County. Activities I value: reading/storytelling, listening to music, dance/movement, creating art (ex. drawing, painting, clay sculpting, etc), building/creating with objects (ex. building track routes, block structures, lego sets, playdoh, kinetic sand, etc), learning and playing board games (or other well-known games), and imaginary play. As an enthusiastic caretaker, I have proven that I am willing to be present to the task at hand.
