Hi! My name is Makena and I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old! In the past two years I have worked as both a substitute teacher and lead teacher for preschool in Burbank, California. In 2021 I received my bachelors in Kinesiology where I learned to make developmentally appropriate physical actives for children of all ages that work on gross motor skills! Not only do I have experience teaching, I have spent time volunteering at an Occupational Therapy clinic where I learned to incorporate fine motor skills into my crafts and activities. Throughout my experience as a babysitter, nanny and teacher I have learned to be more loving and patient with the children I work with. I enjoy being outdoors and immersed in nature, spending time in the kitchen making goodies with the children, and being just as silly as the kids.
