Hi! I am currently finishing my first year at Elon University studying Political Science/ Sociology on the Pre-Law track! I am looking to for a summer job to work with children! I was an outdoor school counselor for CVUSD my senior year, and participated in the Junior Achievements "Teach for a Day" Program. I was also a part of Blue Shadows Mounted Drill Team for 10 years. In these roles I was given the responsibility for ensuring safety for the children and making their experiences fun and engaging. As an outdoor school counselor I stayed in the cabins with 6th grade students and helped assist in their learning of nature and the environment during our days. Blue Shadows is a calvary based drill team for kids ages 8-18. As a 10 year member of Blue Shadows I taught horsemanship and leadership. All of these experiences have given me a love Read more for working with children and the knowledge to do it. Currently not CPR certified but completely willing to get certified ASAP.
