Hello! My name is Jamie LeClerc and I have been babysitting for over 8 years. I have the bulk of my experience as an after-school nanny and driver for grade school age children, providing additional errand assistance and personal assistant duties. I am comfortable and have experience with children from 10 months to teenagers. I have the most specific experience with ages 2-11 and I have mostly worked for families with multiple children and also twins. I also have experience working with other sitters in a group environment, providing child care for parties/events/etc. I live in Southwest Phila and I have a reliable car, license & insurance and a clean driving record. I am a huge arts and crafts buff and I love doing activities with kids rather than having them watch TV (I know a 2 year old with her own iPad). I love to play outside and encourage imagination in children. I like to build things with kids, ride bikes/toys and am a huge fan of finding fun DIY projects to do. I also love to read books or comics and make up stories with kids, and love to do puzzles as well. I have experience with homework help, preparing lunches or dinners and bedtime routines. I graduated from a state school in Southern California where I grew up, and have my Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I start a Masters Plus graduate program at Widener University in Chester, PA in the fall, and since the actual program only meets 4 weekends per semester, I am seeking an after school part time babysitting/nanny job, and am also available for weekday evening and weekend evening child care. Completed coursework pertaining to child care include Child Development and Developmental Psychology.
