My name is pronounced like "Maui" but with an 'S' and in case you were wondering, I'm from the Polynesian region in the South Pacific. I currently work as a writer with a very flexible schedule. You might have noticed that I don't have any paid experience babysitting children. That's because I've babysat for free! I have four kids that I treat like my own: 3 nieces and a nephew (ages 2, 4, 6 and 8). I am the third parent they never knew they needed. Lol! I am helping raise them and still step in for the occasional school field trip or emergency school pick-up. I also take them for days at a time to give their parents a break. What sets me a part from other sitters is that I am genuinely interested in helping families. In my culture, we believe that raising children takes a village. It's Read more an "all-hands-on-deck" effort and I'd be more than happy to become a "regular" sitter for some families. I also love the idea of getting more experience before having children of my own!
