Qualifications: - 10+ year experience babysitting when needed -Clean background, driving record, and criminal history -Driver's license and reliable transportation Experience: -Babysitter for the Adam Family. The mother is my former high school teacher. I babysat for her when needed throughout my high school years. She has 2 children; a boy who is now 8 and a girl who is 6. I would go with them to basketball games and help her out. More so I'd babysit at their house when she had errands to run or when she went out with her husband. -Babysitter for the VanWingerden Family. The father of the children, is my mother's boss. I babysat for them during the summers. They have a set of 12 year old triplets (2 boys, 1 girl). Usually I would babysit in the mornings, 2-3 hours while the mother would go to her work out classes or run errands. Read more Babysat in the evening once when mother was out of town and father had to work. -Also a babysitter for a few families on occasions, found through Sittercity. I started babysitting just as something I could do on my spare time, to earn a little extra cash. As I was around the children I started enjoying it more. I was able to watch them grow or do fun art activities with them, watch movies, and play games. It was just fun getting to know them more and spending time with them. I have a 12 year old sister myself, so I find it fascinating to watch her as she grows up and learns new things or gets better at something that maybe was once challenging for her. I think a few qualities that makes me good for this job is that I really enjoy arts and crafts and playing with children. I am also a patient person, which is an ideal characteristic for a babysitter to posses.
