Hello! I am an occupational therapist, currently working as a stay at home mom. I have a doctorate and master’s degree in occupational therapy, as well as current license as an OT, training in child/ adolescent development, special needs and CPR/ BLS training. I am looking to work as a sitter to help supplement income for my family. I have worked with preschool to high school aged children as a school occupational therapist and as an occupational therapist in various types of mental health facilities. Given my background, I understand how to be child centered when interacting with children. This means, I always place the child’s needs first and take into consideration their developmental stage resolving issues or simply finding ways to play that are meaningful and appropriate. As a mom of a toddler, I have direct experience caring for newborns/ babies. I deeply understand parents want the best care Read more for their children and believe I can deliver. Fun facts about me: - I am trained as an expressive arts practitioner and in trauma informed care. I enjoy going for walks in nature, music and learning new things.
