Hello there! My name is Tara and I am a Chico State student currently in my third year. I am majoring in child development and I have taken over 18 childhood education classes and I have worked closely with children throughout my life. I am CPR and first aid certified and my training is up to date. I have been involved in a lot of volunteer work like counseling science camps, leading reading camps, and mentoring. I live in Chico currently and I am working remotely on my classes. I am aware that many different families have special circumstances that may require specific cautionary actions regarding covid-19 and I am open and eager to work with any group that may require extra safety measures.

Tara was great! We needed temporary help for 2 weeks while visiting family in Chico. Tara looked after my two girls, aged 5 and 9, for full days while I worked remotely. She organized activities for them and prepared meals, keeping everyone happy and well-fed. She was always prompt and flexible when I needed extra support. The girls had a blast and loved spending time with her. I especially appreciated that she took them swimming (she's a trained lifeguard) and found other suitable things to do in the 100+ degree weather. I'd definitely recommend her to other parents.
