We have had the pleasure of Delia watching, caring, and loving our son for about the past year and a half, starting from when he was around 8 months old to 25 months. When she started with us it was instantly clear the wonderful gift she has with children. Her attention was always on him, playing with him, helping him reach milestones, feeding him, putting him down for naps and overall just loving him as if he were a child of her own. We were always at ease that he was safe and in good care when he was with her. As he grew from being a baby to a toddler she only continued to impress us with not only her energy to be out and about playing and exploring with him; going to library classes, walking to the park or just coming up with fun adventures but also the way no tantrum, fussiness or soaring heights of energy from our son ever overwhelmed or caused her any stress. My husband and I were always saying how easy she made it look and how much fun they had together. I know her engaging and compassionate nature has played a large role in the impressive amount he knows, has learned and is able to do and it was very evident how much our son adored her too. In addition, she was always on time or on the rare occasions she was running a few minutes late she would always let us know. She was someone who we truly enjoyed being in our home on days where we were working from home and someone we fully trusted when we were not home. She was also willing to watch him evenings and weekends as well as for an overnight trip where she stayed the night at our house with him. I cannot say enough great things about her and would highly recommend her. We had bleak experiences with nannies before her and know how difficult it can be to find one that is skilled, dedicated, communicative, and passionate … all qualities Delia has naturally and in abundance. We were lucky and so thankful to find her!
