Hi Everyone! My name is Jana, I'm currently a student at Sacramento State, and am VERY excited to be graduating with my BA in May. I have been a childcare provider for many years, and have held a wide range of positions relating to childcare. These positions include: babysitter, nanny, transportation between activities, after school day care teacher, teaching assistant, summer camp coordinator, and contracted docent. I was raised in a large family and was always enamored with the little ones. Anytime there was a new baby to play with, or a kid that would give me their attention for 5 minutes, I was in hog heaven. Being a childcare provider, in the various jobs listed above, has given me a wide range of experiences. Some of these experiences have become some of my fondest memories. There is nothing like bonding with a child, and becoming part of a family. My biggest hobbies are hunting and fishing. My husband and I try to spend just about every free second that we have in the outdoors. I also love to play with our loving lab named Cope, read, garden, and craft. I am recently CPR & First aid certified, and will continue to keep this certification valid. I look forward to becoming part of a family that I can grow with too!
