I became a caregiver the year of 2009 for kids of the ages of 4 -19 years old. Throughout the week I'd arrive at a home, where the kids would live, to get the kids up ready for school. Breakfast would be made by another staff member, help them get dressed (if needed), and give their medications accordingly by the doctor. On the weekends I would arrive early in the morning till mid afternoon. During the weekends me and another staff member would help one another cleaning. cooking, fun activities with the kids, go to the park, and have them showered and ready for the night. The reason I became a caregiver is because I believe I'm a kid at heart, but also have a mindset of an adult. I like to teach children learning skills such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, etc. and when the child learns and is Read more so excited they succeeded, it warms my heart to know they learn something. I love kids imaginations, I am a very patient person, and always make sure your kid(s) will have a smile.
