Hi families! My name is Sarah and I am a third year college student studying human development and family science at the Ohio State University. I am have been working as an intern at the Ohio State University’s Schoenbaum Family Center preschool where I assist the teachers in daily operations and activities in the classroom working with children aged 2.5-5 years old with the occasional time spent in the classrooms with children under 2 years old. While here, I have learned many strategies for communicating with young children as well as strategies for other things like discipline. I’ve had lots of experience with children aged 7-14 while working at a summer camp this past summer. I spent my weekdays driving them around and supervising them at water parks, beaches, hiking, and many other activities. I’ve spent time as a preschool gymnastics coach teaching kids aged 3-5 activities that help with Read more motor skills, social skills, and behavioral skills. I’m very energetic, responsible, and caring and would love the chance to spend time with your children.
