For many years I was the on-call babysitter for the Hyatt Hotel in Orange County. I met and cared for families from around the world. I raised one son with Type 1 Diabetes. He just turned 18 and is ready to start college. I am extremely detailed oriented and very compassionate. I am very reliable, responsible, honest... and I'm more of a nurturing, gentle soft-approach type person, I'm NOT a strict tough- love type person. I speak kindly to children with respect , and never yell. This has worked very well for me as a parent. Safety is always my top priority. I'm patient and sensitive to both the needs of the child & parents . Healthy communication and developing a strong trusting relationship with both parent(s) and children is essential.
