I am the oldest of my siblings with five younger sisters, so I have a lot of experience with children. I've also had step siblings of different ages and genders which has made me understand how it feels to be an only child, middle, youngest and oldest child of the family as well as watching both boys and girls. I have been babysitting and tutoring children since I was 13 years old and was a live in nanny for a couple years after graduating high school. I was once a junior lifeguard, so I have been certified in first aid, lifeguarding, and swim lessons and have also worked with children with disabilities such as Aspergers and ADD. I know ASL (American Sign Language) and have seen that it helps with communication between babies and parents immensely.
