I have raised my two nieces, which they are in the mid 30s now and I also raised my two boys which one is mid 20s and the other one is 16. I have worked at Kindercare, in Chino, but that was 14 years ago. I have taken two classes in child development. I do have a lot of patience with children. Plus I know that I’ve done a great job of raising my four children because of that. I do understand that children need a lot of attention and they need to be Reassured that I am there for them. Having good eye contact with a child is really important. They need to know that I respected and I value their time and understanding. Once a child knows that I am pleased with their performance(examples: washing their hands, picking up after themselves, just overall listening) they would want to Read more continue listening and wanting me to be around them. My belief in any situation, whether the child is having a difficult day or not listening to authority, talking to a child in a low tone voice without any anger or frustration, the outcome is always POSITIVE. I enjoy being around children at all times and I also interact with them, but not only with schoolwork and authority figure, I like to play games with them.
