My name is Diana and I'm a recent graduate of UCSB with a degree in theatre! One of the things I love about working with kids is that they're so perceptive and smart! At the end of the day, they can teach me as much as I can teach them. I've worked with kids of all ages, and in different settings: including in-home babysitting, sleep-away camp staff (on-call 24/7), and children with disabilities. I am also the oldest on both sides of my family, with a sister 10 years younger, so I often find myself being like a second mom. My goal, when providing child care, is to find the proper approach to each child based on their individual needs. I like to be as attentive as possible in forming a bond that will make the joint family-to-babysitter experience more enjoyable! I am always willing to help with whatever is Read more needed in the education of the child, especially the artistic side of things. Hands-on activities are always an option, as well as help for supplemental schoolwork or homework if needed, depending on the needs and requests of each family. If help is needed with cooking/cleaning or transportation, arrangements may be made! Multiple families I've worked for have pets, including my experience with dog-walking duties, so animal friends are A-OK! If any of the above is relevant to the child care desired, please contact me with any questions or specifics! I look forward to meeting you! :)
