Meet Maia
- Comfortable with pets
Hello! My name is Maia. I love children, I love animals, and I love to read. I have my own cats, so I know what it takes to be responsible for something of that nature. Or rather, someone. It isn’t enough to love them; that love has to translate into consistently doing certain tasks, such as feeding them, giving them water, cleaning their litter box, cleaning any messes they make, taking them to the vet, and so on and so forth. Also, I had a little sister growing up, and I helped take care of her when my parents were gone or busy. In a sense, the way I’ve lived my life gives me something just as valuable as official/professional experience, if not moreso. In addition to basic care for pets and/or children, I can cook, clean, swim, do laundry, and follow instructions, including recipes. I also have an imaginative Read more side, and I would be happy to supervise (or participate!) in whatever creative projects your children come up with. In terms of my personal life, I’m a college student who dreams of becoming a teacher someday. (I’m still working my way through my general requirements right now, though). My favorite book is Kindred by Octavia Butler, my favorite video game is Undertale by Toby Fox, and when I’m not hard at work, I’m reading or browsing in the library. I look forward to working with you! =^^=
