Hello all! My name is Kayla, and I’m a recent UC Davis graduate currently living in the area during my gap year before continuing my career in healthcare and working on applying to EMT jobs. Thus I am CPR and BLS certified. I’m looking to fill some hours doing what I love most—spending time with and supporting children and families. I come from a large family and have always been the go-to babysitter, but I also bring a wide range of professional experience working with kids. I completed a 6-month internship at UC Davis Health, where I worked alongside a Child Life specialist and ran the Play Room for children ages 0 months to 18 years. I’ve also worked as a preschool camp instructor and am a certified Behavioral Technician, having provided support for children with autism between the ages of 3 and 5.
