Hello! My name is Valerie and I am a recent graduate from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Psychology. Since I was young, working with children has always been my career goal. I was a proactive tutor for children in Primary School during my years in HS and College. After graduating I worked with children on the autism spectrum for a year, and I truly appreciated this experience as I helped them improve their cognitive, social, and learning skills within their homes. I decided to explore working with kids in a school based environment and now I am currently working as a behavior technician providing emotional, and educational support to children K-12. I love working with children, but I also love providing the care they need as well. I have experience babysitting and I also have two lovely nieces I babysit very frequently. I know how to cook, clean, Read more and PLAY. Additionally, I am CPR certified and very dog friendly!
