Hello, My name is LaQwalia Parker, I'm 28 and I have a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Youth Development. I have always worked with children since I was young with siblings and cousins. I enjoy tutoring and mentoring our children of the future. I am now employed full-time with the Department of the Army where I am trianing to be a Facility Director. I have a clean record and I am dependable, caring, reliable and fun to be around. I do not have a family of my own, but I am engaged. My work hours are from 8am-4:30pm, but my schedule is flexible, meaning I am willing to go into work an hour ealier to get off an hour earlier. Laqwalia watched my 3 and 5 year old daughters on two occasions and they constantly asked for her several times after that. She prepared dinner, which I only know because the girls told me - she immaculately cleaned the kitchen afterwards! I was very impressed with the way she easily interacted with them. Unfortunately we suddenly had to move or we would still be using her. She has my highest recommendation for any family that needs an extra pair of helping hands.

LaQwalia was fantastic. She watched my 15 month old and my 2 year old and they had a great time. After my 15 month old went to bed she spent alone time with my 2 year old. They colored and then made Christmas tree ornaments for our tree. My son told us they did flash cards and played with his dinosaurs. She even managed to follow his bedtime routine and put him to bed, where he actually slept (a first for anyone other than Mom and Dad)! We look forward to having her come and play with our boys again soon. I am hopeful that she will become a valuable member of our family. - Morgan K.
