I love working with children because I get to positively influence their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Also, watching children develop their individual personalities gives me a lot of joy, especially when I get to teach them valuable skills. Yet, when it comes to my experience with taking care of kids, it mainly comes from me being a sitter for my relative kids when I was in high school. In addition to that, when I was in high school, I volunteered at El Cajon Branch Library, where I worked with other volunteers to set up indoor and outdoor activities for children, including coloring and craft making, kinetic sand, and painting rocks. At the same time, I kept an eye on those children and assisted them with everything they needed while participating in the activities.
