I have been helping my family take care of the kids and babies in my family for as long as I can remember. Starting at six years old I cared for my younger cousin, getting him ready for school, walking him to his classes, and teaching him table manners. When I was 10 years old, my older sister with muscular dystrophy had her daughter and I assisted her when she was on bed rest and helped care for the baby for two years before they moved out of the house. I did the same when my brother had his son too. At my local church I was hired to watch the young children of parents attending NA meetings and did this for six months. Today, I help my siblings watch and care for their kids age 2, 12, and 13. I have always been great with kids and being someone Read more part of their lives I want to ensure they are happy, healthy, and engaged with the world around them.
