Hey there! My name is Maria Moore and I am a college transfer student at the California state university at Northridge studying psychology with a focus in applied behavioral analysis. I’m originally from Northern California where I graduated from John C. Kimball High. Beyond just taking care of my younger sister, my babysitting duties extended to all younger cousins, nieces, nephews, all ranging from ages 3- 12. With all the experience I gained at a relatively young age, it prompted me to pursue a career focused on such. In addition to my studies, I’ve worked as a behavior technician for two years now, teaching coping, communication, and social skills to autistic children at school and in homes all over the South Bay area. This role has elevated my patience, adaptability, and resilience.
