Since I was in my early teens I knew I had a passion for caring for children. At age 15 I start to volunteer in the summer at our local YMCA. There I would assist with caring for the younger children. I also was able to orchestrate a various amount of projects. They let me tap into my inner creativity in letting the children reach into their imaginations and put it out in to physical form such as in building animals out of clay and painting 'portraits'. My senior year of high school, I landed a job as an assistant care giver for the babies and toddlers at a family owned daycare. I absolutely adored my position. I was able to feed the children, play with them, teach them to reach milestones such as identifying different body parts, and I was able to put them down to sleep. I learned Read more so much not only about the children about my capabilities in working with children. I understand that I am a parents top assistant when it comes to caring for a child. I also love working with children because they never run out of energy, they tend to give you a 'run for your money'. Exercise is an essential need in life and simply playing with children, your able to receive what you need physically. I take pride in being able to foster a healthy and safe environment all while being able to have extremity amount of fun.
