I am an experienced art therapist who teaches yoga and crafts to people of all ages. I especially enjoy babysitting for children who are infants to toddlers but also enjoy teaching yoga to those who are interested from 7yrs to 12yrs old. I have recently moved from Boston to California to live with my partner, Jeff who is a potter. While I was growing up my mother ran a daycare in our home so I guess you could say childcare runs in our family. We had any wear from 4 to 6 children per day and my sister co-ran the business with my mom in her twenties. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have always loved it; being active, telling stories or holding a one year old until they feel calm enough to take a nap. Children have a natural curiosity and resilience I never can resist. I also worked for six years at a child at risk hotline providing stress counseling, offering referrals and initiating responses by on-call social workers in emergencies. I am now spending more time on artwork and childcare in the East Bay Area. In my spare time I like to work out and go hiking.
