Update: I am now a mother of fraternal twins. I have also been volunteering at their school in Vista since they were in Kinder. I have acquired lots more experience with children. I speak fluent English and Spanish. On my free time you can always catch me reading an inspirational book, writing poetry, drawing, scrapbooking, excercising, learning how to cook, and cleaning. Those are my ways of relaxing. My first babysitting job was in my senior year in high school (while I was still attending school). I took care of my nephew and niece they were about 1 1/2 or 2 years old and they were fraternal twins. This was a new experience for me because they were twins and to top it off one was a girl and the other a boy. They just liked very different things so it was a challenge for me! But I slowly got better at it and Read more was a piece of cake. It became fun to just play with them and teach them everything they can learn like their ABC's, counting 1 to 10, and drawing. I would get them involved in other activities rather than sit and watch children's television programming (I don't like to watch much television). From my babysitting experiences I can also remember that I really enjoy it. I don't get frustrated easily because I have worked on my patience. When I was employed at a health and weight management program "Weigh of Life" I would babysit children from ages 2 to about 13. So it was hectic, but fun at the same time even though it was only for about 2 hours or less. Working with the minds of different ages in children is really interesting because you can teach them new things to improve themselves with encouragement.
