I recently moved to California from New Orleans where last summer I was a teachers aid at Upturn Arts Camp. This was an all day camp focusing on dance, visual arts, theater and music for children from 6yrs to 12yrs old. It was a blast and I've wanted to work more with children ever since. I, myself went to the School of Visual Arts in New York for Fine Arts then moved to Chicago for a bit where I was introduced to Sittercity. I babysat with one family while I was there, a 3yr old boy named James, I was his first sitter and it went really well. At that time I also worked with my sister, as an aid, during a music camp for Urban Prairie Waldorf School. I have mostly worked in the service industry and for a while I stopped with child care until I came to Read more New Orleans. I love the outdoors, who couldn't here, so I am happy to go to the parks or swim. Definitely any drawing or painting activities are fun too. It's up to the child there's always something fun to do.
