Why I love being a sitter: I truly love working with children because they bring so much joy, curiosity, and personality to every day! Watching them learn and grow, and being part of those little milestones—like a new word or a big smile—makes it all worth it. I love creating a space where kids feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore and express themselves. My experience: I’ve cared for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids. Most recently, I cared for a sweet 7-month-old baby girl, where I helped with feeding, nap routines, developmental play, and early language activities. I started out working in my church nursery and have since help care for two wonderful families. Alongside childcare, I currently work as a co-manager at Journeys Kidz, where I stay organized, multitask, and build great connections with kids and parents every day. My skills and training: I’m CPR Read more and First Aid trained and hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I’m also continuing my education in Speech Pathology, which helps me better understand child development, communication milestones, and how to support early speech and language growth through play. I love planning creative, screen-free activities like reading, singing, sensory play, and outdoor adventures. Families describe me as patient, reliable, and nurturing—with a calm, positive energy that kids feel right away.
